Eligibility Terms

Anyone can sign up for our partner programs. However, to receive funds into your student loan account, please make sure your loans meet the following criteria.

  • You must have an AES-serviced loan.
  • Your loan must be in one of the following states: repayment, in school, in grace, forbearance or deferment.
  • Your loans cannot be in default. If you have a defaulted loan, contact AES at 1-800-233-0557 to learn how to rehabilitate your loan.
  • The lender of your loan must participate in Student Loan Rebates. Check now.

If you expect to get a student loan in the near future, you can join now and begin earning rebates. Just remember: you cannot link up your AES account and receive rebates into it until your loan is active.

The Fine Print

  • Partner rewards program contributions transferred into your loan account are supplemental payments and do not take the place of your regular scheduled monthly payment. You must continue to make your monthly payments while utilizing this service.
  • Rebates are applied like a monthly payment. Accrued unpaid interest is satisfied first, then principal.
  • AES is not responsible for the application of your partner rewards program contributions to your student loan until AES receives the contributions from the partner rewards program.
  • Your partner rewards program contributions are applied to your student loan account pursuant to the terms and conditions of your promissory note and the policies of your lender.
  • Rebates cannot be applied retroactively to loans that have already been paid in full or transferred to another servicer.
