What is Grad Gold?

Grad Gold is a free and easy service that helps students and their families earn reward money when they shop online through any of our over 2,000 partner retailers, including Gap.com, iTunes, Target.com, Bestbuy.com, Expedia, Shutterfly and more.

After you complete the fast and simple sign up, you can easily get your friends and family involved to help pay down your student loans.

How do I pay down my loan?

  1. Join Grad Gold. It's FREE and it takes only two easy steps - no need to enter credit card or other personal information.

  2. Shop at online merchants and save automatically through Grad Gold Savings Manager Software.  Or you can shop through the Grad Gold website.

  3. Receive a percentage (1-50%) of your purchase into your Grad Gold account.

  4. Once your account reaches $25, your money is transferred to AES, your loan servicer, on a quarterly basis.

  5. AES applies the money to your loan account, reducing your loan debt. It’s that easy.

How do I earn rebates?

  • Shop at over 2,000 online retailers.
  • Get rebates of up to 50% of your purchase.
  • Get rebates from the online shopping of your friends and family.
  • Earn extra rebates by inviting others to join Grad Gold and start their own savings. Grad Gold will give you an additional 10% of your referral’s Grad Gold savings as long as you both are members. (Note: they don’t receive any less.)

During your registration process, you can send an invitation that will allow them to support you by simply following a link to join.

Or, if you want to add more friends and family after you have enrolled, simply:
  1. Log in to Grad Gold.
  2. Enter the email addresses of your family and friends.
  3. Grad Gold sends them a pre-written email invitation.
  4. Once they accept your invitation and join Grad Gold, they begin saving for you.

Your friends and family will have the flexibility to divide their savings between your savings plan and other members' savings.
